On Tuesday, the Kalam-Mingora Road has been closed for traffic after a glacier collapsed during heavy downpour and snowfall near Laikot in Swat valley.
Following the collapse, residents nearby areas were stuck in their villages while tourists were forced to walk their way out of the affected areas.
According to local police, efforts are underway to clear the road.
“Heavy machinery has been mobilized to clear the road as quickly as possible for traffic,” the official added.
