LAHORE - Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary has said that justice will be delivered at all costs even if the sky may fall down. He said that independent judiciary was imperative for the progress of the country as it is sure to attract investment. The Chief Justice was talking to a delegation of Tax Bar Lawyers at his chamber. He said that taxes are vital for the country and State can work only if it gets taxes. He advised the lawyers to discharge their duties honestly and to play their role in assisting the judiciary. He said that the lawyers movement had done a lot in bringing change in the society. The Chief Justice said that rule of law and supremacy of the Constitution will make the system stronger. The Tax Bar delegation briefed the CJ about their problems.
