NEW YORK - Pakistans honorary consul general in Boston says a Pakistani man detained in Maine during an investigation into the attempted bombing of New Yorks Times Square doesnt know the two men who were arrested in the Boston area. Barry Hoffman, the consul general, met Friday afternoon with Mohammad Shafiq Rahman of South Portland. He said he is puzzled about why he has been jailed. Hoffman said Rahman has been given a copy of the holy Quran and has been promised prayer rug and a meeting with an imam. Investigators say Rahman and the two Massachusetts men are believed to have supplied funds to car bomb suspect Faisal Shahzad, but may not have known how the money would be used. All three are being held for administrative visa violations.
