LAHORE - Federal Minister for Trade, Makhdoom Amin Fahim has said that the PPP government will complete its five-year tenure since it had come to power through a democratic process and with the public vote and support. Talking to mediamen here on Saturday, the federal minister said that elements predicting early departure of the PPP government must accept the reality that the party had come to power through popular mandate as such they must wait till the next general elections. On the issue of sacrilegious caricatures, the minister said holding of protest demonstrations was the right of Muslims. He said strikes were not the solution of issues, the countrys economy needed to be made strong. The minister went on to say that Pakistan had to increase its exports and wanted trade access to the international markets. On terrorism, the minister said that Pakistan rendered huge sacrifices to fight terror war.
