3 deprived of vehicles in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI - Unidentified carjackers took away two vehicles and a car was snatched in different localities of the city on Tuesday.
According to details, a citizen Nusrat Arshad lodged a complaint with Police Station (PS) Airport that his Corolla XLI car bearing registration number UV-267 has been pilfered by unknown auto-theft gang. Police took up a case on the application of the victim owner and launched investigation in the matter with no arrest or recovery so far. Similarly, Muhammad Atif’s Corolla GLI car (VB-022) was stolen from the area of PS Westridge. Police filed a case against the carjackers on the complaint of Atif and started searching the accused.
On the other hand, a citizen Pervaiz alleged three passengers of snatching his car (LXE-8242) from the area of PS Airport. In an application, tendered with PS Airport, the applicant mentioned that the three persons Yawar Shah, Arslan and Jamila Begum booked his car for going somewhere, but after filched his car and run away. Taking action, police registered a case against the three accused and initiated probe into the matter.
