LAHORE - Liquid Propane Gas (LPG) marketing companies have raised the tariff of lpg prices by rs .5/kg on Friday. New prices will be implemented from Friday onwards. New tariff increases price of domestic cylinder from rs .30 to rs . 40, whereas the increase in commercial cylinder is up to rs . 160. According to the press release by “LPG Distribution Association, Pakistan”, the demand of lpg was very low in last two months due to the low prices of petrol, hence, there was import of lpg . Irfan Khokhar, Chairman All Pakistan lpg Distribution Companies, requested govt to stock lpg for month of Ramazan to ensure continuous supply of lpg to consumers.
He added that Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) should notify the reasonable price and strongly check and balance the marketing companies prices.
