LAHORE: PTI Punjab chapter has announced supporting the farmer’s sit-in today (Monday) to be held in provincial capital against the government policies for the farming sector. Former provincial organizer of the party Chaudhary Sarwar made this announcement yesterday while talking to a party meeting. The government should immediately stop the import of vegetables from India in order to provide relief to the local farmers and growers, demanded the PTI leader.
The incumbent rulers were on a mission to destroy the farmers, he claimed.
The underprivileged masses were committing suicide while the PML-N leaders enjoying the luxuries, added Sarwar.
The government must not increase the petroleum prices and impose new taxes, he warned.
