AJK Legislative Assembly starts general debate on budget 2018-19

The AJK Legislative Assembly started general debate on budget for the fiscal year 2018-19. Taking part in the discussion, Members termed the budget balance and develop oriented, reported by Radio Pakistan.

Members including Abdul Rasheed Turabi, Sehrish Qammar, Naseema Khatoon, Faiza Imtiaz, Riffat Aziz, Javed Iqbal and others thanked federal government for ten percent enhancement of the development budget and inclusion of mega projects in public sector development program.

Women members suggested the government to take steps for the promotion of tourism, improve mother and child healthcare services in hospitals, extend audio video facilities in schools and provide interest free loans to the skilled women for running their own businesses.

The members strongly condemned Indian aggression at working boundary and Line of control.

They demanded United Nations to depute peace missions to the Indian held Kashmir. They said Indian expansionist and aggressive designs have jeopardized the peace in the region.

The members deplored Indian claim of so called democracy and said its actions are reflective of worst dictatorship.

They lauded the role of Pakistan for unequivocal support to the Kashmiris and their right to self determination and advocating their cause at all international forums including UN General Assembly.
