KARACHI (APP) - The Balochistan Minister for Women Development, Ghazala Golo, met Sindh Minister for Works and Services, Manzoor Hussain Wassan at his Sindh Secretariat Office Saturday. During the meeting Ms Ghazala informed that Balochistan Govt is setting up a university for women for which an allocation of Rs 100m has been made. Besides, she said, a hostel for working women will also be constructed at a cost of Rs 25m. Ghazal Golo said the present government is carrying out a comprehensive planning for welfare of Balochistan women in order to promote the mission of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. The plan envisages establishment of Darul Aman in every district, mass weddings, women shelter center and women resource centres. The Balochistan Minister informed that Women Development Department is being divided into three wings with social welfare, social education and women welfare sections to function separately which would help facilitate the womenfolk of the Province. On the occasion Manzoor Wassan informed the visiting Minister about development schemes of his department and had an exchange of views on matters concerning the two Provinces.
