LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that Nazaria Pakistan Trust is playing an important role in promoting awareness about the Pakistan Movement and the ideology of Pakistan among young generation and the Punjab government will continue cooperation with the trust for this purpose. Shahbaz Sharif was talking to a delegation of Nazaria Pakistan Trust led by its chairman and prominent journalist Majid Nizami here on Monday. The chief minister said Pakistan had been achieved after innumerable sacrifices, adding there was a need for creating awareness among the new generation about the sacrifices and struggle of our forefathers for getting a separate homeland. He said the spirit of safeguarding the geographical and ideological borders of the country should remain alive especially among the youth. The CM said the services of Nazaria Pakistan Trust in this regard were commendable and credit goes to the Chairman of the Trust, Majid Nizami and his team. He said the trust was rendering a great service by apprising the youth about the Pakistan history and the Punjab government was extending its fullest cooperation to the trust in this mission. He said the Pakistan ideology would be included in syllabus so that youth could be apprised of the aims and objectives of the Pakistan Movement. Chairman of the Trust Majid Nizami thanked the chief minister for extending cooperation to the trust and said he was providing all possible resources to promote awareness in the youth about the Pakistan Movement. Vice Chairman Nazaria Pakistan Trust Dr Rafiq Ahmad paid tributes to the chief minister saying provision of buses to the trust was yielding positive results and thousands of students were benefiting from the facility. The delegation included Col (R) Jamshed Ahmad Tarin, Begum Majida Wyne, Shahid Rashid and Rafaqat Riaz.
