QUETTA - Provincial President Jamoori Watan Party (JWP), Nawabzada Shahzain Bugti has said the dream of peace and stability in the country and province cannot be materialised until and unless incidents of kill and dump of missing persons, military operation and target killings are stopped. Elimination of corruption and role of state intelligence agencies from the countrys politics is inevitable, he said. Addressing a press conference at Bugti House here on Tuesday, Shahzain regretted the deteriorating law and order situation in the province and said state intelligence agencies and incompetent rulers were equally responsible for the grim situation. If recovery of decomposed bodies of missing persons, military operation, target killings and corruption were not stopped the country would not remain intact, he feared. He said in order to get rid of corrupt and incompetent rulers, JWP had decided to kick off a public campaign and would hold public meetings in Quetta from Nov 25. JWP leader alleged military drive was still continuing in Dera Bugti and they were still not allowed to move to their hometown. Responding to a question, he said he had gone abroad in connection with his medical check-up and not for other purpose. He said Interior Minister Rehman Malik had included his name in Exit Control List and only once he was given a chance to travel abroad for treatment. On the occasion, JWP senior leader Mir Yousuf Notezai said public campaign was just a beginning of the movement against corrupt rulers and this campaign would soon turn to be a flood for the rulers. He said judiciary had issued orders of arrest warrants of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti but despite it government neither taking action against accused who were in the country nor who were out of country.
