Our Staff Reporter RENALA KHURD - Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) Sahiwal Zone In-charge Naveed Ashraf has said that a special crackdown had been initiated against gas pilferers to eliminate the malpractice and ensure a smooth gas supply to the domestic consumers. He said that no leniency will be tolerated in this regard and gas pilferers would be dealt with sternly. SNGPL Zonal In-charge Naveed Ashraf stated this inspection of CNG filling station in Okara and Renala Khurd here ht eohter day. He pointed out that that sui gas was an important facility for the public but unfortunately some unscrupulous elements were creating difficulties for the common man by stealing gas, leaving the life line consumers in the lurch. He claimed that 38 illegal connections had been unearthed and consequently disconnected in Okara and Depalpur. He told that this was his first appointment in Sahiwal Range and he would spare no effort for solving the problems of the people. He also appealed to the public extend support to the department for the elimination of gas theft and provide information about the pilferers.
