ISLAMABAD (INP) - The Senate chairman has summoned the session of the Upper House on Friday on the requisition by the Opposition to discuss the memo issue. The session is likely to continue for two days. Twenty-nine members of the Opposition from PML-N, JUI-F, JI, BNP-A, PkMAP and Muslim League-Likeminded had submitted a requisition on November 18 to acting Senate chairman Jan Muhammad Jamali for convening the session. According to sources, the acting chairman wanted to convene the session on November 22 but Chairman Farooq H Naek stopped him from doing so and told him that he would summon the session on his return from abroad.
