AJK PP executed record development

MIRPUR (AJK) - Top AJK PP stalwart and senior Minister Ch Muhammad Yasin has said that the AJK government has been taking practical steps for the uplift and prosperity of the people without any discrimination. “The establishment of three medical colleges at all three divisional headquarters, IT university, network of roads and highways and other development projects of public welfare are reflecting the outstanding performance of the incumbent PP government over the first one and half year rule in the state, he enumerated.
Talking to this scribe at his residence here, the senior minister said that the proposed mega projects like establishment of an international airport in Mirpur in the near future would open up new vistas of economic progress and prosperity in AJK. The government of Pakistan has already approved the establishment of international airport in Mirpur on special directives of President Asif Ali Zardari in response to the long-standing aspirations of the people of Mirpur division including lakhs of UK-based Kashmiri expatriates. Ground breaking ceremony of the gigantic project is likely to be held next month,” he claimed. Ch Yasin also welcomed the resumption of talks between Pakistan and India for the resolution of long-standing issues including the core issue of Kashmir.
He emphasized the need for early peaceful settlement of Kashmir issue according to the aspirations of the people of the Jammu & Kashmir.
The PP stalwart pointed out that a strong and stable Pakistan was guarantee to the freedom of Kashmir. He said that under the dynamic leadership of President Zardari the PPP-led government of Pakistan was fully committed to get Kashmir question settled in line with wishes of Kashmiris. He applauded President Zardari’s recent address to the United Nations general assembly wherein he unequivocally advocated Kashmiris indigenous struggle for right to self-determination. 
Ch Yasin said that global terrorism particularly in south Asian region had badly hurt the Kashmir cause, especially the endeavours for early peaceful resolution of the Kashmir conflict. He said that terrorism could be overcome through early peaceful resolution of the long standing global issues like Kashmir without further loss of time.
He said, “Early peaceful solution of the Kashmir problem is the need of hour for the establishment of everlasting peace in South Asia”.
