KHAR - Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS), Fata chapter, Thursday organised a training workshop for the journalists of Bajaur Agency.

A daylong training workshop was held at the newly Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Bajaur office which was attended by a large number of media persons.

During the training, the participants were informed about the basics of first aid and they were also provided different techniques of first aid through practical exercise.

On the occasion officials of the PRCS local chapter has briefed the journalist about its activities. Mohammad Badsha, Secretary of the PRCS Bajaur branch said that Pakistan Red Crescent society local office that was established in June 2012 has formally launched its activities across the agency. “The main purpose of our activities to provide the first aid trainings to the local particularly the youth and the student’s and also responding the emergency activities,” he added. He said that the PRCS local office has launched a Serial of the trainings in which the personnel of the Bajaur levies forces, students of the government run educational institutions and youth of the different area of the agency will provide the first aid training course.
