New York  - The actress’ alter ego on hit show Friends, Monica Geller, was a chef fanatical about preparing the perfect feast. But Courteney jokes her approach to feeding her friends and family is a little more rough and ready.

“I have, like, 30 people coming for Thanksgiving. That’s a lot,” Courteney told People.com. And asked what she is planning to cook, Courteney replied: “It’s all canned. It tastes great.” Courteney was speaking as she attended a celebration for the 100th episode of her hilarious TV series Cougar Town on Wednesday night, alongside co-stars including Busy Philipps.

And while Courteney is certainly not short of friends in her home of Los Angeles, she is always doing her utmost to maintain a sense of community among her pals.

“No one has family out here, so it’s trying to create some sort of community that I have people over,” Courteney said. “I say that people are always welcome to come on Sundays.”
