SHEIKHUPURA - Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanvir Hussain has said that allegations of terrorism levelled by India against Pakistani armed forces are baseless. He was talking to mediamen along with PML-N Youth Wing Lahore division president Chaudhry Khalil Virk here on Saturday.  He underscored that Pakistan Army rendered unprecedented sacrifices during the war on terror and achieved unparalleled successes. “Pakistan itself is victim of terrorism and the international community should acknowledge the fact that Pakistan is striving hard to weeding out terrorism and terrorists,” he declared.  The minister regretted that Indian “allegations of harbouring” terrorists were in fact a bid to cover up “her sins and misdeed, especially her terrorism in Kashmir.” He advised that Modi should not remain under any delusion, warning that Pakistani army would give a befitting reply if India dared any misadventure. –Monitoring Desk

He informed that the government made headway in talks with India, however, India suspended the foreign secretary level talks without any reason. This is negative attitude from Indian side, he added.

Rana Tanvir said that signing of defence agreements with Russia and other countries bore testimony to the importance of Pakistan, saying that the region would remain elusive without Pakistan.

Responding a question, the minister said those sponsoring dharna politics had no love for Pakistan and they were out to sabotage government’s earnest efforts to address energy crisis to appease their foreign masters.
