Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has removed Naeemul Haq as the party spokesperson and appointed Fawad Chaudhry in his place, sources confirmed Wednesday.

The decision was taken in a meeting of PTI leadership that was held on Wednesday at Bani Gala, the central residence of party chairman Imran Khan.

Sources said that the notification of appointment of Chaudhry as spokesman would be issued by PTI secretary general Jahangir Tareen.

Imran Khan had on Tuesday announced his four-member legal team to present party's stance in the Supreme Court regarding Panama Leaks case.

"Naeem Bokhari will lead our legal team and Babar Awan will be part of it," Imran told reporters at his residence in Islamabad.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, he said, never mentioned any Qatari prince in his explanation about the leaks. "They never expected that the Supreme Court would take up the Panama case."
