ISLAMABAD - Former Director General of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lieutenant General Faiz Hamid on Monday took command of Peshawar Corps. Lieutenant General Nauman Mahmood handed over the command of Peshawar Corps to Lt Gen Faiz Hamid at the Corps Headquarters in Peshawar, said a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). On October 6, Lt Gen Faiz in a major army reshuffle had been appointed as Corps Commander Peshawar. On November 19, Lt Gen Faiz had left ISI after serving as its director general for over two years. Prime Minister Imran Khan, on October 26, had approved the appointment of Lt Gen Nadeem Ahmed Anjum as new DG ISI with effect from November 20.
