Expo Pakistan to enhance exports

Our Staff Reporter KARACHI - Provincial Minister of Public Health Adil Siddique said that exhibition Expo Pakistan has become an identity of Pakistan in foreign countries. This exhibition will not only increase Pakistani exports but also pave way for access of Pakistani products to international markets. He was talking to media after attending 6th days Expo 2011 as a chief guest here in Expo Center on Saturday. Chief Executive of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) Tariq Iqbal Puri, Secretary General of TDAP Javid Anwer and Chief Organiser of Expo 2011 Khurshaid Nizam were also present. Felicitating the organisers for holding a successful exhibition the Provincial Minister said that Expo Pakistan exhibition was encouraging traders and industrialists. He said organising such exhibitions depends upon the law and order Situation in the country, particularly in Karachi. He expressed satisfaction over the current law and order situation in the city and said that 6,000 foreign observers from 52 countries were present at the Expo 2011 which was a great sign that now Karachi is a peaceful city. Earlier, the minister visited different stalls and lauded the stalls set up by lady traders and industrialists.
