The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Sunday cancelled a flight to Chitral from Peshawar due to bad weather. According to Peshawar Airport administration, PIA flight Peshawar-Chitral was scheduled on 9am but due to bad weather the flight had to be cancelled. The PIA officials said that due to Haj operation, flights of Chitral would have to be reduced but still one flight daily would remain functional after the weather would become favourable, to accommodate the travelers. Meanwhile, travelers have demanded PIA authorities not to disturb the Chitral flights as they have to face hardships to travel via land route due to poor condition of roads and mudslides at various places.
