HAFIZABAD - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf District Hafizabad President Ch Amanullah Sandhu has urged the government to withdraw the recent hike in the power tariff and ease the masses burden who have been sobbing under worst economic condition. While addressing a gathering of workers, he urged them to ensure maximum participation in the PTIs historic public meeting of the workers at Minar-e-Pakistan on October 30. He said that PTI is becoming popular among the masses day-by-day and Lahore public gathering would be eye-opener for the rulers as feudals and capitalists would be wiped out in the next elections. He said that the incumbent rulers had failed to provide any relief to the people rather it had created manifold problems for the masses due to skyrocketing prices of all edibles, POL, CNG, Sui-Gas and electricity, lawlessness, unemployment due to bad governance. He said that PTI Chief Imran Khan was the only hope for the nation as he could steer the country out of the prevalent sad state of affairs. MA CLASSES COMMENCE: At last MA classes (Economics and Islamyat) have been started in the Government College Hafizabad and the authorities here have introduced co-education. Specious postgraduate buildings have been constructed by spending Rs44 million adjacent to the Govt Islamia College for women and Govt Boys College about six years back but despite requests, neither staff was appointed nor classes started. Recently, The Punjab Education Department appointed staff for MA classes in the Boys College but Women College has been ignored and allowed boys and women to get admission in MA classes in the Boys College, which has been disapproved by the local Ulema. Similarly, co-education has been introduced in the Vocational Training Institute and the parents called upon the authorities to arrange for separate training classes for boys and girls to prevent any unpleasant happing.
