SPECIAL JUDGE FOR QUICK HEARING: The government has decided to appoint a special judge for quick hearing of cases registered against adulterators while the office of Food Authority is also being set up in Multan, disclosed DCO Nadir Chattha.

Addressing a meeting here on Saturday, the DCO added that a government building had been selected near District Jail to set up the Food Authority office. He said that the district government had recently launched a massive crackdown on the adulterators and over 200 maunds fake ghee was disposed off recovered from a factory, extracting oil from animal remains.
