ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should consider himself responsible if a 'third power' takes over following the PTI's lockdown of Islamabad on November 2.

Imran Khan has called for the PM's 'resignation or accountability' following Panamagate.

While addressing the media the PTI chief said, "only one person will be responsible if democracy is derailed," in a reference to Nawaz Sharif.

However, he clarified that PTI's protest is not designed to bring in a 'third power'."

"Why is a protest happening? Nawaz Sharif isn't presenting himself for accountability," he added. "Protest is the PTI's democratic right. The government will have to bear a severe loss if it tries to stop us."

Imran Khan also accused the government of defaming the Army.
