Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Jam Kamal Khan on Tuesday formally inaugurated the process of registration of 'Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme' in Quetta.

Talking to media, he said that the ambit of 'Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme' would be extended to other districts of the province as well.

On October 10, PM launched the 'Naya Pakistan Housing Programme'. Speaking on the occasion, he said the target of the government is to ensure the provision of five million affordable houses for underprivileged classes during the next five years.

Naya Pakistan Housing Program envisages construction of 50 lacs affordable houses for the underprivileged segments of the society during the next five years. 

The CM Jaam Kamal said that the people of Gwadar city are being provided 1.7 million gallons of clean drinking water daily from newly constructed desalination plants.
