ISLAMABAD - Patients, students and commuters entering the capital from Rawalpindi from the junction of Faizabad on Friday suffered all day due to blocking of roads.
Hundreds of commuters faced hurdles in reaching their educational institutions, hospitals, and offices due to diversions announced by the administration.
People from all walks of life residing on the boundary of twin cities felt chaos after 10:00am and were found rushing back to their homes as the city administration placed containers to block the entry of TLP members.
A number of students were seen stuck on roads while patients on the way to the public sector hospitals of the capital expressed their disappointment with the emerging situation. Residents complained that the administration should have properly announced a holiday instead of putting a lot of people in trouble.
