LAHORE - In response to the basic health care needs of the flood victims, the Pharma Bureau prepared medical relief packs for the benefit of the affected. Each bag contained tablets, Brufen or Panadol suspension, ORS, 1.5 liter of mineral water, Mospel mosquito repellent, skin ointment and zinc suspension for diarrhea. The composition of the packs was based on disease prevalence and risk burden as a consequence of living conditions created by the floods, as determined by the PMA who are partnering the Pharma Bureau initiative by helping in distribution to the affected populations.
