LAHORE Senior Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab Sirdar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa has said nomination of PCS officers for training at NEPA, Staff College and other training institutes will be made in time and no supervisory officer will stop any officer nominated for training course so that the promotion of concerned officers will be made during fixed period of service. The training of the officers waiting for promotion in next grade will be also be considered in the institutions of NEPA in other provinces, he said while presiding over a meeting of the committee constituted for reviewing the demands of PCS officers. Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan, Senator Pervaiz Rashid, MPAs Mian Ata Muhammad Maneka and Sheikh Alauddin, Additional Chief Secretary, Secretaries of Services and Law Departments, Advocate General Punjab, President Rai Manzoor Hussain Nasir and other office-bearers of PCS Officers Association also attended the meeting. Khosa said the government was taking measures for the quality training of officers of provincial services so that they could solve problems of the people with better capabilities. He said prospectus of starting special training session for the officers waiting for training was under consideration. The meeting was informed that those PCS and DMG officers, transferred from Lahore, would be able to avail the accommodation facilities for two years while the conditions for the membership of officers club were also been settled. The meeting was further informed that a record number of officers of provincial service was promoted during the last two and a half years and nominations for training in various courses were made.
