Islamabad - “Pakistanis are great nation who donate blood for the betterment of the world and after seeing so many youngsters donating blood with passion I cannot stop myself from donating blood.”

German Defence Attache Colonel Klaus Wolf said this while donating blood at a blood donation camp held at National University of Modern Languages (NUML) by Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) yesterday, says a press release.

Klaus Wolf was on a visit to German language department with German delegation. He saw students gathering and went there and came to know that PRCS held a camp for blood donation. He was surprised to see that a large number of students were visiting blood donation camp to donate blood.

While exchanging views with Director Administration NUML Brig (Retd) Zia Ul Hassan Sahi he said that it is commendable step by the NUML administration and the PRCS to establish blood donation camp in NUML.

Brig (Retd) Sahi thanked the German defence attache and said that the practice of voluntarily blood donating is still not very high in Pakistan. Such drives will encourage young students to go for voluntary donations.
