KARACHI - Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday visited the constituency PS 127, Malir, to celebrate victory in by-poll where a large number of PPP workers and supporters gave him a warm welcome on Thursday. Bilawal claimed that the people of Karachi would vote PPP in 2018 elections. He said that people of Pakistan would show Nawaz Sharif in the upcoming elections that PPP belongs to the masses.

Bilawal announced starting Mass Contact Campaign’ (Awami Rabta Mohim) from Malir where people were warmly greeted him while PPP chairperson thanked Karachiites for letting his party win the recent by-election.

He again vowed that this city is belongs to Bhutto “Yeh Shahr Kis Ka, Bhutto Ka”. He said that the dark time of Karachiites has been ended and now the shop will not run from London. He said that PPP will show its political strength on October 18, in the metropolis on the occasion of Martyrs Day.  Malir victory proved that the Karachi remains belong to the PPP and in the upcoming elections PPP will win from the entire country. 

He chanted slogans that Pakistan khappay, Pakistan khappay, it is worth mentioning here that Bilawal visited the different areas of Malir where PPP candidate regained Sindh Assembly seat PS-127.

The seat had fallen vacant due to the resignation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) MPA Ashfaq Mangi after he joined Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP).

This was the first election in Karachi after MQM Pakistan disassociated itself from its founder following anti-Pakistan remarks and attack on a media house. Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah congratulates Bilawal for his successful visit in District Malir and said that people of Karachi remains intact with PPP.

He said that Karachi’s ruler and urban population show confidence on the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto.  He said that political rivals remain in trauma following warmed welcome of PPP Chairman in Malir.
