PM’s Sangla Hill visit deferred till Oct 8

LAHORE - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s visit to Sangla Hill for the purpose of inaugurating Shorkot interchange and an overhead bridge has been deferred till October 8. Previously, PML-N set September 30 as date for the PM visit to Sangla Hill which now has been changed to October 8 in view of the PTI protest march at Raiwind the same date.

PML-N senior leader and Parliamentary Secretary for Information Rana Muhammad Arshad said that the date has been changed in order to dispel the impression that the same day address of the Prime Minister aims at countering the PTI march.

He said that PML-N believes in democracy and respects the democratic right of every party. Moreover, he said, that the PML-N is gaining public support every day as such it is not scared of protest march by any party as the people are endorsing policies of the ruling party and supporting the same.
