ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar says work on areas affected due to war against terror will be accelerated.

He sated this during meeting with Vice President of World Bank Hartwig Schafer in Islamabad on Thursday.

During the meeting, they discussed upcoming sessions of World Bank and International Monetary Fund to be held in Washington next month.

They also discussed the development projects which are being implemented with the help of World Bank.

The Finance Minister with the support of the World Bank special development projects will be started for the uplift of the far flung areas of the country. He said special programs will also be started for the welfare of the farmers.

The Vice President said that the World Bank will continue to support Pakistan for development projects.
