SUSAN Boyles performance on Britains Got Talent has set a new record as the most watched video clip ever on YouTube. The 48-year-olds rendition of the Les Miserables classic I Dreamed A Dream has earned the unemployed church volunteer fans across the world - and has been watched 93.5 million times on YouTube in just 11 days. It is more than five times the 18 million who logged on to watch Barack Obamas inauguration address. When other websites are also taken into account, the clip of Miss Boyle has been watched more than 100 million times online. With Miss Boyles fame continuing to spread across the US, where she has appeared on a number of television chat shows, the clip is expected to pass the record for an online video of 120 million views in a matter of days. That record is currently held by the viral hit Evolution of Dance, a montage of dozens of popular dances by the entertainer Judson Laipply. Earlier, this week an early demo tape made by Susan Boyle was unearthed by Telegraph.co.uk. Miss Boyle recorded two songs ten years ago and distributed them to only a handful of her closest friends in the village of Blackburn, West Lothian, where she lives alone with her cat. The recording features two songs - an early version of the blues ballad Cry Me a River and Killing Me Softly with His Song, the track immortalised by Roberta Flack in 1973. Telegraph
