LAHORE - The Lahore High Court Chief Justice has decided to not observe the weekly two holidays and directed that LHC principal seat and its subordinate benches and courts in the province will continue to work as usual. Chief Justice Khawaja Sharif directed all supervisory officers of LHC as well as all the district and sessions judges to take necessary measures to minimize the usage of electricity to contribute towards the energy saving movement in the country. The legal fraternity also supported the decision of Chief Justice for not observing two days weekly holidays. A delegation of Punjab Bar Council and other bar associations called on CJLHC in his chamber. They supported the will of CJ for THE eradication of corruption from the judiciary. The lawyers expressed satisfaction over the selection of civil judges and underlined the need for recruitment of more civil judges.
