Supreme Court on Saturday approved the petition against the Judicial Commission for hearing. A Supreme Court bench will hear the constitutional petitions challenging the 18th amendment on April 28, a private TV reported. A five-member larger bench of the apex court headed by Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk will hear the petitions. The other judges of the bench are Justice Rehman Hussain Jafferi, Justice Tariq Pervez, Justice Raja Riaz and Justice Jawad S. Khwaja. Five petitions have been filed in the court challenging the 18th constitutional amendment unanimously passed in the parliament. The petitioners include Muslim League (Zia) chief Ejaz-ul-Haq and Nadeem Ahmed Advocate.
