Adele retains UK albums No 1 with ‘21’

ADELE is celebrating a 23rd week at the top of the UK album chart with her record-breaking LP 21.
The singer, who returned to the top spot last week, outsold Jason Mraz’s Love is a Four Letter Word by just 44 copies in her 65th week in the album chart.
Mraz’s fourth studio album debuted at number two, after leading the pack with a 2,000-copy advantage during the week. The British vocalist has now spent a total of 24 weeks at number one, with both 21 and her debut 19.
Former number one Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded by Nicki Minaj fell one spot to number three, while Lana Del Rey’s Born to Die climbed two places to number four.
Jessie J’s Who You Are completed the top five, after slipping one place from last week. Train enter the chart at number ten with California 37, while Spiritualized’s latest album Sweet Heart Sweet Light reached number 19 in its first week.
