LAHORE - Scuffle between pilot and supervisor disrupted the schedule of international flights at Allama Iqbal Airport Lahore on Wednesday.
Sources said that Captain Javed, pilot of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) London bound flight PK-757 sought permission from supervisor Chaudhry Ali Raza for carrying additional luggage of a passenger.
However, the supervisor refused which led to exchange of hot words after which Capt Javed slapped the supervisor.
The airport staffers and air-league closed the counters which adversely disrupted the schedule of all international flights.
Later after dialogues between air-league and people's union the London bound flight left for the destination with several hours delay.
Talking to this scribe, PIA employees Peoples Unity President Sajid Gujjar said that such attitude woujld never be tolerated in future also no matter the aggrieved official was from Air league or Peoples Unity they will stand by with the aggrieved official.
