ISLAMABAD - Express TV, Kashmir Media, Foreign Media XI and holders ATV entered the quarterfinals of the PTCL Inter-media Cricket Tournament here at G-6 ground. In the first match of the day, Express TV outclassed ARY TV by 84 runs in a one-sided affair. Batting first, Express TV scored huge 161-4 in 8 overs. Bilal Zaib made 71 and Zeeshan Ali 52. ARY skipper Jahnzaib Ali took 2-12. In reply, ARY were restricted to 77-5 with Rana Tariq scoring 37. In the second match, Kashmir Media XI thrashed Inter News by nine wickets, Inter News made 85 with Rana Akmal scoring 31 and in reply, Kashmir Media XI achieved the target in the 6th over losing one wicket. In the third match, Foreign Media XI beat Dawn by 36 runs while in the fourth, ATV beat Metro Watch by 8 wickets. –Staff Reporter
