LAHORE - Akhuwat arranged a ceremony at Irfan Block of Punjab Institute of Cardiology on Thursday for distributing gifts and toys among children under its ‘make a dream project’.
Director Akhuwat Dream Dr Ismat Leghari, Medical Superintendent PIC Dr Ubaida Nighat, additional MS Dr Aslam Hameed, Project Coordinator Ruby Danial, Uzma Bhatti and volunteers from various educational institutions attended the ceremony.
Akhuwat gave away gifts to six patients on their choice and distributed toys among other children.
Dr Ismat Leghari briefed the participants about the purpose of Akhuwat Dream project. She said Akhuwat has so far fulfilled dream of over 600 children suffering from various diseases.
Dr Ubaida Nighat appreciated Akhuwat for fulfilling dreams of children. She urged the organisation to increase the scope of its project, go to other cities and fulfil dreams of children suffering from fatal diseases.
