Deescalating violence

The UN has adopted a resolution banning weapon sales to Houthis in Yemen. This is a clear violation of neutrality, as UN is taking sides with Saudi-led ‘Sunni coalition. By such an act UN is trying to promote the Sunni coalition. The only right and plausible position for the Un would be to ban all weapon delivery to either side, so as to de-escalate the conflict and promote a non-military, negotiated solution, if peace is still on the agenda of United Nation, which has become a second fiddler of US.
