ISLAMABAD - The Pakistan Disabled Sports Association (PDSA) will hold a farewell reception in honor of departing Australian High Commissioner Peter Hayward and his wife Suzan today (Friday) here at Islamabad hotel. Talking to The Nation, PDSA chairman Sheikh Abdul Waheed and secretary Nasir Mehmood Chaudhry said: “We feel it was our responsibility to pay glowing tribute to Peter Hayward for his tremendous contributions towards promoting disabled cause and always made himself available whenever we requested him to spare time for events. We have also requested him to arrange a disabled cricket match between Australian High Commissioner XI and PDSA XI, as soon as he gives us time, we will arrange that match. “We will also announce central contracts in four categories for the disabled players.”
