Islamabad - Thereek-e-Difa-e-Hermain Sharefain (TDHS) has announced to observe Friday as Youm-e-Difa-e-Harmain Shrefain throughout Pakistan. Moulana Fazal-ur-Rehman Khalil, the spokesperson of TDHS and ameer of Ansaar-ul-Umma, disclosed this at a press conference here on Wednesday.

Moulana Khalil said that processions, rallies and conferences would be arranged to show solidarity with the Saudi government. Maulana Ashraf Ali, Administrator of Mardrissa Taleem-ul-Quran, Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman Nazir Farooqi from JUI, Maulana Zahoor Alvi Nazim-e-Aala of Wafaq-ul-Madaris, Mufti Mujeeb-ur-Rehman and other prominent religious leaders were also present on this occasion.

The spokesman said that victory of Saudi Arabia against Houthi rebels is a welcome sign. He said that these rebels have thrown out the elected government of President Haddi, which was not only a political move rather it was an armed insurgency and the war against rebels would continue till the restoration Haddi government. He said that Saudi Arabia is the time-tested friend that always stood by Pakistan in every difficult and tough situation. He said that the Saudi government has always supported Pakistan weather it is post-atomic bomb test situation or the devastating earthquake of 2005.

He said that the Pakistani government should take a clear stance on the issue and declare complete solidarity with Saudi Arabia.

He said that main cause of Thereek-Difa-e-Harmain Sharefain is to make the masses aware of threats posed to the Saudi Arabia, particularly to the holy cities.

Maulana Khalil said that processions, rallies and conferences would be conducted in all the cities including Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi on Friday. He said that the main rally would start from Lal Masjid and will conclude at Aabpara.
