Minister for National Health Services Saira Afzal Tarar has urged parents to ensure that every child in their household is vaccinated against vaccine preventable diseases, reported by Radio Pakistan. 

In a message in connection with World Immunization Week, she said the government is committed in saving lives of vulnerable children by ensuring smooth supply of vaccines against these 10 vaccine preventable diseases across the country.

The World Immunization Week is being observed across the world from Tuesday (April 24) and the Global theme for this year is “Protected Together, Vaccines Work”
