CM responsible for poor law, order in province: Pervaiz Senior leader of PML-Q Ch Pervaiz Elahi has said that current poor law and order situation in the province provides no justification to the rulers for continuing the Punjab Government. He expressed these views while talking to various party delegations of Gujrat on Monday. Ch Pervaiz alleged that the Chief Minister by encouraging the police encounters had made mockery of the judicial system and every citizen feels insecure in current law and order circumstances. He further alleged that all those police officers who render their services for staging fake encounters were close to the Chief Minister. He said that the current policy of the provincial government for controlling the crimes was the main reason behind the poor law and order situation in the province. PML-Q leader said that to punish the culprits was the task of the courts but the CM, instead of expressing confidence in the courts decisions, believed in extra-judicial decisions. He alleged that Chief Minister Punjab was solely responsible for the extremely poor law and order situation in the province. Ch Pervaiz said that he during his stint in power got stopped the police encounters as a tool of maintaining the law and order and introduced Punjab Prosecution Department to provide speedy justice to the poor.
