KARACHI - Awami National Party (ANP), Chief Asfandyar Wali Khan on Monday said that the killing of ANP senior leader in the most sensitive area of metropolis was a question mark on the performance of law enforcement agencies. Hundreds of people were killed by the terrorists in the incidents of target killing in Karachi he expressed these views during a meeting of ANP Sindh cabinet held at Mardan House. He assured the ANP Sindh office bearers that he would meet President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani to inform them about the negligence of the Sindh government to provide protection to the common people. He further said that he would also inform high command about the concerns of ANP Sindh leadership over the target killing of party office bearers and workers. Asfandyar further said that he would discuss the issue of target killing with the government, saying that the party would be free to take any action if the terrorists involved in the target killing were not stopped. He appealed to the people to foil the conspiracy of anti-Pakistan elements through the unity, adding that some elements were hatching the conspiracy to sow anarchy and chaos in the country. However, The ANP Sindh cabinet adopted a resolution condemned the negligence of the government to arrest the terrorists involved in the killing of ANP office bearers. ANP Sindh cabinet meeting to chalk-out the course of action after the killing of ANP leader Ubaidullah Yousuf Zai condemned the government attitude and the failure of the government to arrest the terrorists involved in the killing of ANP leaders.
