Masters callously torture child servant for 3 days

ISLAMABAD When nation was still in a state of shock over brutal killing of two youngsters in Sialkot yet another shocking incident took place in the federal capital on Monday where a 12-year-old servant was subjected to callous torture by his masters and even they rolled heated iron on boys body, however, the boy survived. This gruesome incident took place in the limits of Sabzimandi Police Station where a couple kept the boy in habeas corpus in their flat. According to details, acting on a tip-off a police party led by SHO Raja Tahir raided a flat at Islam Chowk and found the child tied with rope, who was being brutally tortured by his masters for the last three days for his alleged involvement in stealing Rs 35,000 from the house. The boy was identified as Muhammad Nadeem, son of Muhammad Munir, resident of Reham Yar Khan. He was working there for the last two years. After medical report FIR has been registered against four accused including Athar, his wife, Mazhar and Mian Jalil, Investigation officer Najeeb Ullah said. Talking to TheNation SHO Raja Tahir said that vivid marks of torture and burns were present on the boys sensitive body parts and further investigations were underway from the nabbed accused. SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan said that he had directed DSP Industrial Area to arrest the other accused and complete the investigation of the case at the earliest. It is relevant to note here that such incidents are frequently taking place in federal capital where masters are found involved in torturing their poor servants. Recently, masters had broken backbone of their poor maid in the limits of Koral Police Station. She is now being treated at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences. Similarly, few months back a 14-year-old girl was allegedly tortured by a government officer.
