oUR sTAFF rEPORTER MIRPUR (AJK) - Azad Jammu Kashmir Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Mirpur here Tuesday unveiled the names of top 20 position-holding students, appearing in the annual intermediate part-II examination - 2011, held under the auspices of the board. The results of Intermediate examination part-II will be announced on Sept 25, AJK BISE Controller Examinations (colleges) told a news conference here on Tuesday. The results of the annual Intermediate part-II will also be available on the website of the AJK BISE after 9:00am. The Boards website address is: www.ajkbise.net. Highlighting the detail of the results, the controller said that a total of 36,443 candidates out of 37,024 candidates appeared in the examination of which 15,005 candidates were declared successful. Thus the overall result of the board remained 41.17 percent. The overall result of regular candidates remained 52.86 percent - whereas the overall result of private candidates remained 28.98 percent. Maneeba Amin (Role No. 500130) of Govt Model Science College Muzaffarabad and Amina Yousaf (Role No. 500484) belonging to Pre-Medical group secured first position jointly in the examination by bagging 1006 marks each. Similarly, Aisha Shabir (Role No. 500204) (Pre-Medical) of Govt Model Science College Muzaffarabad and Usman Sadiq (Role No. 515397) of Aims School and College, Muzaffarbad secured 2nd and 3rd positions in the board by obtaining 1001 and 1000 marks respectively.
