KARACHI - Jamaat-e-Islami Sindh chapter chief Asadullah Bhutto on Thursday condemned a government decision to increase oil prices and called for its retraction forthwith.

In a statement, the JI leader asserted that the rulers had snatched joys of Eidul Fitr from the people by hiking oil and CNG prices. He termed the decision as a drone attack on poverty-stricken people. He derided that the government had given people nothing but hunger, price-hike, lawlessness and corruption.

Bhutto demanded the government to immediately withdraw the fresh hike in prices of POL products. He also charged the ruling PPP and its allies with tormenting the poor.                  –Reporter
