RAWALPINDI - Chief Minister of Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif will address a rally in Rawalpindi on September 2.

To mark the occasion, he will inaugurate development projects costing Rs 8 billion for the constituency NA 56.

The projects Shahbaz Sharif will inaugurate include Cardiology Institute and Shahbaz Sharif Sports Complex.

The political circles are attaching much importance to the visit of Shahbaz Sharif to the constituency after the announcement of Chandni Chowk flyover.

The reason for this is that Hanif Abbasi is expected to contest the general elections with a representative of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf.  Sources said the Chief Minister has directed the MPAs and MNAs hailing from PML-N to improve connections with the common people and to build an environment of unity among them in order to win their acceptance.

Mian Shahbaz Sharif has also asked from the PML-N office-bearers suggestions for ensuring the success of the party in the coming general elections.
