Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said provincial governments should utilize all available resources to rehabilitate people affected by flood.
He was talking to media at Qadirabad on Saturday after distributing relief items among flood-affected people and taking aerial view of the areas affected by flood in Ghotki.
Nawaz Sharif said the provincial governments should evolve strategy in time to handle the situation to be caused by rain in September.
Earlier‚ the prime minister was briefed at Qadirabad about the damage and steps taken to provide assistance to flood-affect people in the area.
He was also briefed that federal required funds were not released after 2011-12 floods.
The prime minister directed the concerned authorities to provide all possible help to the flood-affected people.
He distributed relief items at Qadirabad among people affected by flood and listened to their problems.
Earlier‚ Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah received the prime minister at the Sukkur Airport on his arrival.
